Dogs/puppies (under 60 lbs.) and cats/kittens 8 weeks or older, at least two pounds are welcome. The surgeries take place on the LA/SPCA campus in our mobile unit.
Cost:
$25 feral cat/kitten (includes ear-tipping and rabies vaccination)
$40 owned male cat/kitten
$50 owned female cat/kitten
$75 dog/puppy (under 20 lbs.)
$100 dog/puppy (21-60 lbs.)
Other Services:
$15 microchipping
$30 dog vaccinations
$40 cat vaccinations
Households currently receiving federal or state assistance including HCV, TANF, Medicaid, SSI, food stamps or WIC and citizens over 65 qualify for reduced fees with proof of one of the above.Veterinarians will use dissolvable sutures. No vaccinations, services, tests, procedures or follow-up visit will be required (recommendations may be made.) Veterinarians may, at their discretion, choose not to schedule or perform surgery for any reason.
Book online or call the LA/SPCA's spay/neuter program at 504-368-5191, ext. 141. Appointments are made Monday - Thursday between 9am-4pm. All animals must arrive at the mobile unit before 8:30am and be picked up by 4:30pm.
