The Louisiana SPCA Salutes:

Felipe Crenshaw

The Honorable Chairdog 2008
1st place winner Dog Day Afternoon 2007

Felipe Crenshaw, a 6-year-old Chihuahua and native New Orleanian, travels the country with his mom, Rozane, as she works in the recovery efforts from natural catastrophes. Although Felipe’s first love is helping the homeless animals throughout Greater New Orleans, he helps others wherever he may be. Even so, Felipe knows his biggest responsibility is in caring for his mom, a responsibility he takes seriously. He may have a tiny frame, but he fancies himself a big dog and knows no fear as he lives his life to the fullest. Felipe enjoys sunbathing and his afternoon naps as much as his treats and being the center of attention! His balanced life is full. Felipe uses his opportunity to meet people from all walks of life to show them what a special companion the four-legged adopted kind can be. It is his biggest hope that all animals find loving and healthy homes.
