Students in this school program are given the opportunity to train shelter dogs, learn about animal welfare issues and how to be responsible pet owners. Our goals are to promote the humane treatment of animals, inspire compassion, and to encourage students to stay in school. The program is adaptable to fit the needs and schedule of the host school and students.
We worked with Langston Hughes in 2009 and Ben Franklin Elementary in 2011. If you think your school would benefit from this program in the 2011/2012 academic year, please email us.

"If you think dogs can't count, try putting three dog biscuits in your pocket and then giving Fido only two of them." - Phil Pastoret
