OFFSITE ADOPTION EVENTS
Help provide our animals more exposure and an even greater chance of being adopted! There is a lot that goes into preparing for our off-site events. If you would like to help out, here are some of the things you can do:
- Help at the shelter a day or two prior to the event bathing, gathering paperwork, making sure each animal is ready for the off-site event, etc.
- Assist at the shelter the morning of the event washing/wiping out crates, getting all the animals together and ready for transport.
- Help transport the animals to and from the event.
- Help at the event by partnering up with one of our adoptable animals, man our information/bake sale table, assist with adoptions.
- Provide a hand at the shelter after an event, settling all of the animals back into their kennels and returning carriers, leashes to their respective places, etc.
- Contribute goodies if a bake sale is being held in conjunction with the event.
NOTE: If you have never helped before there will be team members there to give you guidance!
