Gary Ptak Introduces “The
Gift that Gives Back”
 Created
with the Louisiana Society for the Prevention of
Cruelty to Animals (LA/SPCA) shelter and New
Orleans in mind, Gary Ptak recently launched a
special Fleur de Lis pendant in remembrance of
Hurricane Katrina. As a Tulane University
alumnus, Ptak was deeply saddened by the
devastation left by Hurricane Katrina. While
living in New Orleans, Ptak began adopting dogs
from the LA/SPCA and has since adopted three
more. When the shelter was destroyed after
Hurricane Katrina, Ptak began working closely
with the people at the LA/SPCA to help rebuild
what was lost. Ptak wholeheartedly supports the
goal of the LA/SPCA and hopes to increase the
public’s awareness of the great efforts put
forth by the shelter to find homes for an
estimated 15,000 animals that were pulled from
the waters during and following Hurricane
Katrina. Ptak periodically donates his personal
time and effort to this organization and
revisits New Orleans numerous times throughout
the year.

proceeds from Gary Ptak, LLC is donated to
various charities, his central focus being to
help the LA/SPCA after the horrific events of
Hurricane Katrina. With the aftermath of
Hurricane Katrina leaving thousands of animals
displaced in Louisiana, Ptak wants to do his
part to help to pick up the pieces.
With the recent anniversary of Hurricane
Katrina, our nation still faces the ongoing
problem of rebuilding the New Orleans. To help
give back, Ptak is donating 50% of the proceeds
from the Fleur de Lis pendant to the LA/SPCA.
