Happy Tails

Simon was malnourished and tested positive for heartworms when he was rescued. Now, after starting his heartworm treatment and finding his forever home, Simon is a completely new dog. His new family says that he is settling in nicely and loves to take up the entire bed!

Dog Day 2015 - March 22, 2015

Grand Opening: Adoption, Resource Center & Clinic

Please join us for the much anticipated grand opening of the Adoption, Resource Center & Clinic August 21 - 23 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. each day. Festivities include kids activities, demonstrations, giveaways, tours, adoptables and so much more!

In memory of the 10th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, the Louisiana SPCA is asking the public to donate $10 to pets in our community. With every $10 donation, a staff member or volunteer will hang a collar on the community art display located on our campus. The collars will be donated to pets-in-need around the New Orleans area and the funds raised will be used to microchip the thousands of animals that come to the Louisiana SPCA every year. Each collar purchased will remain on display until after the grand opening. To participate in the Collar Community Art Display, visit the Louisiana SPCA in-person or donate online at www.la-spca.org/collar.
